During your tour, you’ll spend between two and three hours kayaking through Florida’s stunning waterways, with plenty of opportunities to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. As you glide through serene waters, you’ll learn some fascinating facts about the local wildlife and ecosystems from our expert guides. Your safety is our top priority, so you’ll be required to wear a life vest and whistle throughout the tour. Expect a fun and relaxing time, with lots of outdoor adventure, and we’re sure you’ll be eager to come back for more. Restroom facilities are available at some of our launch sites. It’s important to note that kayaking can be a little wet, and depending on the tour, you may even get to enjoy a refreshing swim!
For your kayaking adventure, make sure to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun, as well as sunscreen, which is a must for those sunny Florida days. A camera and dry bag (optional but recommended) are great for capturing memories while keeping your gear safe and dry. Stay hydrated by bringing bottled water, and pack a few snacks for energy on your journey. A bath-size towel is a good idea if you plan to swim or get a little wet. Feel free to bring any personal paddling gear you’re comfortable with, as well as insect repellent. It’s always a good idea to lock up valuables in your car, just in case. Dress in comfortable clothes—shorts are ideal since you might get a little wet. Swimwear or board shorts are perfect, and if it’s cool, pack a cover-up (avoid cotton). Don’t forget water shoes or sandals that can get wet, and bring an extra change of clothes, just in case!
